Who This Is NOT For
❌ You have a lot of website integrations that would break if you start your website build on a fresh trial site.
❌ You have more than 100 blog posts.
❌ Your blog posts contain a lot of large photo galleries. (This applies to some photographers.)
❌ You have a Squarespace 5 website.
-
No. We have to transfer the entire blog. If there are posts you don’t want to transfer, we recommend deleting them before the transfer begins.
-
The transfer will not affect your current blog at all. It will remain live both during and after the transfer.
-
No. We can only transfer blogs from one Squarespace 7.0 or 7.1 website to another.
-
Technically yes, but we don’t recommend this. If you have that many blog posts, it’s safer to redo your existing website rather than starting over with a new trial site.
If you really want us to transfer a larger blog, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
-
There is no risk to your existing blog. It is possible that some images and formatting may be lost in the transfer process. We have no control over this, so it’s best to check your blog posts after the transfer is complete and make sure they look the way you want them to.
FAQ

If it’s something egregiously wrong, like missing blog posts, we’ll do our best to rectify the situation. If it’s a few missing images or formatting, you will need to fix this yourself.
-
The main URL of your blog will change and you’ll have to correct that, but the URLs of individual blog posts will remain the same. Your meta descriptions will copy over.
